All over Tucson there are "Washes" for the flood water to flow when we have heavy rain fall. Since we've been here we've had some pretty powerful rainstorms, however they've always been at night and by the time morning comes and we see the washes, they're dry again! Well, today, we actually saw water in the wash! Not much, but it is there! To give you an idea, this whole picture is of the wash. Toward the bottom of the pic, the brush you see is still in the bottom of the wash. It's pretty wide. The water only collected on one half of the wash...this time! But you can see on the bank of the wash some of the water levels that they've gotten. Woah! That's a lot of water!
