Today was Christopher's first day of Pre-School! He was so excited! He woke up bright and early and was waiting at the door for the clock to finally say it was time to go!
Christopher led the way to the door! Samantha was close behind, she really wanted to be able to go to school too!
This is Miss Malia! She is in our ward and runs this preschool out of her home! She's been doing it for about 20 years! When we moved down here and asked around which preschool was best... Miss Malia's was always the first one named!
When we got back in the car to go home, Samantha broke down in tears! She was so sad that she couldn't go to school too. I felt so bad, she was completely heartbroken! :( So, I decided that we would go to the zoo, just the two of us! That helped to make her feel a little better!
While we were there they had the some Zoo Docents (volunteers) in the education center with snakes that we could touch. Samantha seemed to really like the feel of them!
Mom and her little "turtle"! Notice the polar bear stamp on her arms... there was a Zoo Docent by the polar bear answering questions about the polar bear and she had a stamp... Samantha wanted one on both arms! She really liked watching the polar bear swim around! So much fun that I forgot to take a picture! Oops!
She loves sitting on this elephant statue! Every time we go to the zoo she has to have her picture taken on it! I think that the trip was a success in getting her mind off not being able to go to school with Chris! And we had a fun girls day out! :)
