Happy Halloween!

Tonight we went to our ward "Trunk or Treat" activity.  Samantha was a "Pretty Princess". Isn't she beautiful!?! (I just love her cheesy smile!)

Christopher was Spiderman! Tough guy, just check out those muscles!!
Since we don't really have a very active/social community and we don't know people in the nearby neighborhoods, we felt we'd skip the door to door trick or treating and go to the church for this activity.  It was fun! All the parents parked in the parking lot, set up camping chairs or sat on tailgates while the kids walked down the line "trunk or treating"! Someone from one of the wards that meets in our building brought hot dogs and "snot-chos" (nachos with green food coloring in the cheese- let me tell you , they looked DIsgUsTinG!!!), pickles on a stick, and ice cream. It was fun to sit and talk with all everyone and see all the cute kids from our ward and stake.
After Chris and Samantha went around a couple times trunk or treating with BJ he took them over to get a hot dog and they sat in the back of the car and had a great feast of hot dogs and candy!

Then it was time to head home. Chris looked tired and stuffed!
Samantha looked like she enjoyed the chocolate that made it into her mouth and not just on her face!

They had a good time! When we got home I checked the mail and found that Chris and Sammy had gotten some cute halloween cards from Grandma and Grandpa Great. (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Great!) They were so excited to get some mail of their very own! Then after they read the cards they decided that they needed to wrestle with Daddy for a few minutes to close out the day!

It was a fun evening! Warm temps (no coats!), visiting with friends, and the kids having trunk or treating fun.
