Doctor Appointment

Today Chris and Samantha had their check up with their new pediatrician. He was a very nice doctor and was real cute with the kids. They were a little unsure when he first came into the room, but quickly warmed up to him once he started talking to them! I'm very pleased with the entire office staff and doctor! 

Chris had to get 4 immunizations and the flu mist and Samantha just needed to flu mist (she lucked out this time!) Then after the appointment we went to get some blood work done on them both. It was a rough day for Chris as he didn't like the 4 shots for immunizations and then the prick in the arm to give blood. He cried a lot and hard! Samantha wasn't to fond of the idea of getting pricked in the arm to have her blood checked but, once I caught her, she did really well! 

Because they both did so well, on the way home I stopped to get them a treat from the bakery. 

When we got there, they had a table set out with plain sugar cookies and a big bowl of candy and several bowls of samples of donuts and other yummy treats! Behind the table was the manager of the bakery. He smiled and asked what he could get for us. Our choice, and completely FREE!! So Chris decided that he wanted a sugar cookie with a green spider on it and Samantha decided to have a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. I think they were happy with their treats and told me that the treats made their "owees feel better".  I'm so glad!
