A "WHAT" hider?!???!!

So, we are down to 12 days. . .

and
YES...
I'm counting!

I've been working on some last minute projects that I want to get done before Taylor gets here so I'll have them to use.

Today I finished my "Hooter Hider"! I think the name of it is SO funny! It's basically a nursing cover-up. I think it turned out pretty cute! I had a pattern that I followed. . .mostly, but there were some things I wanted to add or change slightly, So I did!

Here is the finished project!
This is the front-ish view of it hanging
This shows it folded over so you can see the pocket in back.
Here it is laying on the ground with the corner folded back to see the whole thing. The straps go around the back of my neck and the boning holds it open so that I can see "what's going on" while I'm nursing. The pocket will be nice to put things while I'm nursing so they are easily accessible. For example, a pacifier, nursing pads, etc.
I'm happy with the way it turned out, we'll see how well it works when our little girl gets here!
So Much Fun!

The name is great!! What a good idea to make a coverup that allows you to check on Taylor while she is nursing without having to fumble with a blanket. You are a clever mom.

I've never even heard of such a thing! Wow,... there are WAY more cool things to help with babies than when I was having babies!

You did a GREAT job! What an amazing little "Suzie Homemaker"!!
I'm totally impressed!

Love ya, Sis!

I had several of those because they are the best thing ever invented though mine were not as cute as that one! I'm so excited to see pics of the lil one!
Isn't Taylor a family name? So cool!

Found your blog through.... I actually can't even remember what through, but it's so fun to see your family!

Look at you! I have one of those, and sadly my lil ones didn't like it too much. Look how creative and cute yours is, though! I'm impressed :)
