Today was Christopher's first day of 1st grade!! He was SO excited!
BJ took him and dropped him off as I stayed home to wait for my little day care boy to arrive. He said that when it was time for Chris to go in, he didn't even look back!
I'm not surprised. He is such a friendly boy that loves interaction with other people and is always excited to learn new things! He is such a smiley and happy boy! Love him!
Before he went in BJ snapped a quick picture of Chris with his new teacher, Miss Farsjo.
We got to meet her the other night and are very excited! She was SO nice and excited to have Christopher in her class.
Apparently his reputation proceeds himself.
When we walked in to meet her the other night one of the ladies helping with the meet and greet, saw Chris and excitedly proclaimed to Miss Farsjo that...
THIS was the little boy she was telling her about. The one that "played baseball and is SO happy all the time!! He is just SO cute!"
They both put their arms around his shoulders and went on to him about how happy they were that he was in her class!
It was a proud parent moment!! :-)
(Lets just hope he can keep that reputation up throughout the year and also add to it "hard worker"!!)

First grade! I am glad everyone else knows what we already do about Chris - He is cute , smart, a great ballplayer, and is happy most of the time.

1st Grade ROCKS!! Of course, I guess it won't be so different since Chris had the opportunity to go to full-day Kindergarten last year... LUCKY!! I'm sure that it won't take Miss Farsjo long to find out how lucky SHE is to have Chris in her class!
