The weather is warming up and the sun is shining here in Tucson...which means...it's time to plant our garden!
We went to the store and bought a tomato plant, two pepper plants, onions, and some cilantro and started planting!
Samantha is always such a big helper and LOVES to work in the yard with her daddy!
First BJ shows her what needs to be done and where we want to plant everything.
Then we let her have the small shovel and let her start digging the holes to put the plants in.
Then we gently put the plants in and pack in the dirt around them.
Then you water it all real well. Samantha is SUPER good at this part!
Then you sit back enjoy the look of a freshly planted garden and watch it grow!
We LOVE having a garden to work in. It's a little one right now, but someday we'll have a bigger garden that we can grow a lot of delicious fruits and vegetables to enjoy!

I am tasting those wonderful tomatoes - there is nothing better than a fresh tomato off the vine!!
I am a little jelouse! I want to have a garden some day and I hope that I can get something to grow. I am afraid it will have to wain until next spring though. Good luck with the growing.
