This Thanksgiving we have SO much to be thankful for. . .
A beautiful home to be living in
Our health
Our education
Our family
Friends
The gospel in our lives
Happiness
Eternal blessings
The priesthood
. . .and MUCH more.
Because we weren't able to travel to Utah to visit family, we did our own little Thanksgiving dinner here. We invited some wonderful friends over and had a nice quiet and DELICIOUS dinner together!
The following day, for us, is not known as "BLACK FRIDAY." It's known as Christmas Decorating Day! This is the day that we pull out all of our Christmas decorations and get them all put up! We're not to keen on fighting over standing room (not to mention the 'latest, greatest deal') at any store, so we just choose to stay inside!
So this year we were setting up our decorations and I looked out our front window and this is what I saw.....
On NOVEMBER 27th.
Our fun neighbors had family visiting from
CHICAGO
for Thanksgiving and this is how they spent their Black Friday!!!!
Forgive me . . .I couldn't resist!!
