Happy Easter!

On Easter Morning the kids woke up ready for a hunt! They first had to find their Easter baskets. Chris found his pretty quick and immediately started checking out his goodies!

Then Samantha found hers and did the same (sorry about the quality of the pictures, I guess the camera wasn't ready to be awake!!)

Then...BJ was informed that tradition must continue and that his basket was hidden also! Unfortunately, he heard the Easter bunny get up in the middle of the night to hide it and practically went right to it...(next year won't be so easy!!) But, needless to say, he was thrilled to get to look for his basket!

Then the kids started looking for the eggs. They did such a good job and found them pretty quick! Looks like the Easter bunny needs to hide them a little harder next year! It was funny to watch BJ become like his dad when watching the kids look for the eggs, singing hints and all!!

At church we had a great meeting and some great lessons! It's a wonderful holiday where we are able to focus on the resurrection and life of Christ. We are blessed beyond words and are so grateful for the atonement of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. It allows us to repent of our wrongdoings so we can live with our Heavenly Father again. I know this to be true!

That night, we got together with some good friends from the ward for dinner and another little easter egg hunt for the kids. (I forgot my camera, so I don't have pictures from that....Oops!) It was a good time and a great holiday!

Sounds like a fun time! We are so lame. I guess I just never got into the whole Easter Bunny thing growing up, but I love the egg hunts so maybe I'll do better next year and actually tell Livi the whole Bunny story, etc etc. Anyway, yes we are moving. We want a bigger, newer place so we put ours up for sale just to see if we could get what we wanted out of it (or even sell it at all). Bam - thirty days later we were under contract, and they even offered over what we listed it for. I guess it's our time to go. Anyway, we are now frantically making offers and hoping not to be in a rental forever. But I think it will all be worth it if we end up in a better house for a great deal (thank you, crappy economy!) I love your post on conference too - looks like you had a great time!
