General Conference

This weekend we were invited to go to a friends cabin to watch General Conference. It was beautiful. It was up in the Prescott area, way back in the mountains. We were surrounded by big pine trees, running water, a lake and patches of snow! 

It was windy and cold, however, so we didn't play outside as much as we originally had planned, but we did get out on the lake! The kids loved being in the canoe. 

Inside the cabin they had this stuffed bear ottoman. It was cute and the kids LOVED playing on it! Chris decided he was a bear riding "bear-boy"!!

 General Conference was so great, as usual! During the sessions we had activities for the kids to do that encouraged them to listen. They did really well. And we enjoyed being able to sit and watch it while being surrounded by the beautiful nature our Heavenly Father has blessed us with. It was a great weekend!
