EEww!

Ok so tonight, BJ and I were sitting watching TV when he got up to get a drink and calmly said.."OK, Alli, now I'm going to tell you to look but don't freak out." I looked over toward him I saw it... Now, before I tell you maybe I should explain that I am deathly (ok, so maybe not "deathly" I might be exaggerating a LITTLE, but I REALLY don't like them!) afraid of them...a GRASSHOPPER. 


Aaahh! So, I didn't "freak out" I did just the opposite, I FROZE! I didn't want to move, for fear that it would move. Now the thing with grasshoppers is that when they jump they are about as out of control as a moth. Except when they hit you, you really feel the "thud"! YUCK! Look at the size of this guy... Bah!


So then...how do you get a grasshopper out of your house??? That... I was going to leave up to BJ! (If anyone has a good suggestion that we could use, should another one of these unwelcome creatures enter, we'd appreciate it!) I stayed a good safe distance away! When BJ tried to get him with a cup...it started flying and jumping around the room! AAahhh! I had to leave for a bit to regain my composure!! Well, to make the story short, BJ was successful in getting that big, ugly creature out of our house...minus a leg! I'm sure many would laugh at the scene if they were watching, but ... well...EEeeww!
