Lately Chris and Samantha have been SO funny! I keep thinking that I need to post the funny things they say and do. So here it goes!
The other Sunday I was still lying in bed not wanting to get up and Chris came in to snuggle. I love when my babies do this! While we were laying there we talked about anything and everything...school, his friends, church, and growing up. I gave him a big squeeze and kiss and he said,
"I like when you give me hugs and kisses."
"Ya? Will you always let me give you hugs and kisses?"
"Yep."
"Even when you're all grown up?"
"Ya, even when I'm 15 and 16!"
I immediately asked if I could have that in writing!!
He said "Yep! I'll go write it down right now!"
About 10 minutes later, after I'd gotten up and was having breakfast, he came to show me his picture. . .
Translation: When I grow up big I never forget to XOXOXOXO "heart" Chris
He traced his hand in the middle and put a heart around it and then drew a picture of me and him at the bottom! Too sweet.
You better believe I'm holding on to this one for his teenage years!!!

That same night we decided to have Lasagna for dinner and because it always makes SO much, we invited a wonderful friend and her cute son over to join us!
While we were sitting at the table eating, Samantha said...
"I just LOVE Da-sagna!"
Chris giggled and said,
"It's not DA-sagna, is BA-sagna!"
Big brother always knows best!

One night BJ asked the kids what they wanted to have for dessert before they went to bed. Samantha went to the pantry and fridge to decide, then she came running over to where BJ was full of excitement...she knew what she wanted....
"I want envelope!" she said as she jumped up and down
barely able to keep control of her excitement.
Not sure what she meant, we asked to clarify...
"You want ENVELOPE??"
"Yep, uh huh!" Nodding and jumping up and down.
Still confused, BJ asked her to show him. She ran into the kitchen opened up the fridge and pointed excitedly to the CANTALOUPE!
THAT, we could and would do!

Those cute kids of yours are so entertaining!
The babies are so cute!! I have never noticed Chris (Festis) has freckles. They are great!! Make sure you get those hugs and kisses when he his older. Remind him when he balks as a teenager that he is never too old for hugs and kisses from his mom. I still get them from Beckie, and she is really old!!

Oh my word. You need to make copies of that and then put the original in a safe deposit box. It really is sooooooooooo precious! That made my day!
