Guess Who's 4?

My baby is 4! I can't believe that Samantha is 4. She is such a wonderful, beautiful and spirited little girl and I love every bit of her!

When our dear little Samantha was born she had a super slow start. She was born with the umbilical cord around her neck and was completely lethargic. Her limbs hung limp and she wouldn't cry, but her chest was rising and falling as if she were panting. We were pretty scared. They took her to the NICU where she stayed for the next 4 days. I would go in to the NICU to feed her and it was hard to see her, my precious little baby girl, laced with all the tubes, hooked up to all the beeping machines. I would go and sit in the NICU with her, and hold her and pray that she would be ok and would pull though without any complications.

BJ gave her a fathers blessing, blessing her with strength and health and . . . . .an "extra dose of spirit."

I have a very strong testimony of the power of the priesthood, and I'm reminded of it every day that I am able to enjoy the wonderfully energetic spirit that is inside my little girl!

Samantha is SO full of energy and is SO busy! We joke that we haven't found her "throttle lever" yet because she is always either going full force. . . or. . . she is asleep! She loves her purses and carries them around everywhere, usually stuffed with her toy horses and cell phones! She is my little princess and loves to talk, talk, talk!! She is the eternal optimist and ALWAYS looks at the bright side of every misfortune. She is such a sweet little girl, we are so glad to have her be a part of our family, and I am SUPER blessed to be her mom!
