BJ and I have always loved gardening and yard work. With our move here and renting our house, we aren't able to have a real garden. We have to be able to leave the yard (strip of rocks) when we move out, the same as it was when we got here...not very exciting. So we decided to build a grow box that we could dismantle and take with us when we move. Well, today we finally had the time and were able to get it done!! It was a lot easier to make than I thought it would be and it went quickly! We bought some tomato, red bell pepper, some jalapeno and some onion plants and we now have our own little salsa garden!! YEA! It was a fun project and I think it turned out cute! Now I just need to learn the in's and out's of the Tucson gardening seasons!!

Well, you are way ahead of us. We do have a garden, but it still gets too cold here to plant yet, (not to mention the fact that I haven't even tilled yet or anything!)
What's this 'cold" that you speak of?
He He He
I heard you went to Utah with Jessica! How lucky you both were to have each other's company. I'm not sure I'd even attempt to make that drive without more distractions (i.e. kids) and someone at my side to help the time fly by (i.e. a good friend). Your garden is so sweet!
Awesome garden!!! I'm already drooling over the yummy salsa!
Yeah!! I went ahead and tore out all of my rocks in my backyard (and am in the process of tearing out grass...) I figure whoever moves in next can dig out all of my stuff and put rocks and grass back down. I also figure the tree that I am going to plant will still be below the fenceline when we move, so I can't really get in trouble for that, right?
