The dogs had fun running through the water playing fetch/tug o' war with a stick we found, and the kids liked climbing on the rocks!

Samantha did unbelievably well! No major falls! We were completely surprised considering the fact that most times she has a hard time walking on flat surfaces! We were very impressed! Christopher, at first, was pretty worried about the cactuses getting him. Fortunately, he was safe from them...it was me that got attacked! In an attempt to keep Christopher from slipping down some rocks, I threw my left hand out to balance me as I leaned forward with my right to catch him, and rammed it right into a cactus. Ouch! Luckily I only had to pull out 4 needles. Could've been worse!

It was a fun day out and the kids and Chico should sleep great tonight!! :)

Oh my goodness. I am so jealous that you are wearing shorts and tee-shirts in FEBRUARY!!! Every time the snow melts here Mason asks if we can go to the pool. He doesn't understand that it's only warm enough to swim outside in Utah for 2 1/2 months of the year. :) (Our pool isn't heated very well by the HOA.)
