Running loose in the zoo!!

Last Friday we decided to go to the zoo before BJ started back to school today. It was a beautiful sunny day and the kids really enjoyed getting out! 

There is a big open grassy area in the middle of the zoo and so we let the kids play there for a while. 

The first thing Christopher did when we got to it was lay down! Oh how they miss grass!!

Samantha enjoyed laying on the grass basking in the sun!!

After laying in the grass for a while Chris decided to get some running out of his system. He ran to the fence on the far side and back several times. He seems like he could go forever!

Samantha ran it once or twice, but decided it was easier to sit and watch!

He convinced Dad to join him a couple of times!

After going back and forth got old he decided to take laps around the entire area. He went around a 4-5 times! I thought he'd never get tired... there was this lap. Apparently Chris does stop!!

(Sorry the video is so jumpy, I couldn't see my screen because the sun was so bright, I didn't know if I was even getting him!)

This is a very happy and content little boy!!
