Today we took our second trip to the Reid Park Zoo. While we were there we had the chance to feed the giraffes! We each got 2 biscuits and got were able to let them eat out of our hands...it was fun, I've never been this close to a giraffe before! The kids thought it was pretty neat too!
The zoo here isn't nearly as big as Hogle Zoo, but it's a fun place to take the kids to play. It has a splash area with animal statues and other things to climb on that also spray water when you push a button...great way for the kids to cool off after walking around in the heat!
The picture doesn't show it very well, but it's cute! The animals were also surprisingly active.

I love this one! It looks like the lion is grooming, but he was just sitting there with his tongue hanging out of his mouth 
The turtles here actually moved! It was crazy!
